He has served as an educator for a little over a decade and has over 8 years of experience as a certified coach and entrepreneur. He is also a youth leader that was chosen to represent the youth at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He is the creator and co-founder of Upstart: The Board Game. Upstart gamifies learning entrepreneurship. Before focusing on Upstart, D-cal spent 4 years in the public school system working to transform educational systems. Entrepreneur Philippines called it “a definitive twist to collaboration”.

He has served as a coach and mentor for World Islamic Economic Forum’s Young Fellows Program, Hack the Climate, Shaping Davos: Manila and Watson Institute.

He is also a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum, module developer, writer, certified green building consultant, and martial arts teacher.
