This weekend was an amazing ride for me.

One of the things I have been doing is coaching for the leadership program of Landmark Education. It’s a six month program designed with several promises (some as clear cut as “having that which historically hasn’t moved move”).

It was the 3rd of the 4 weekends this week. And it was a conversation all about performance. Even though, I have already taken the program and I’m now coaching, I always get new ways of looking at my life and how I operate.

This weekend was like an experiential roller coaster ride through the principles presented in the book, “Three Laws of Performance”.

One thing that became evidently clear for me was that even with the all the things I’ve been doing. I have been, for the most part, in my head and not in action.

So, one of the first things that popped up for me was getting clear on my schedule and the actions I’m taking this week.

Not yet including pee breaks and questioning the heavens on how I can fit more tasks

After getting clear, new actions became available. I also saw very clearly what exactly I’m up to this week (including the two whole days at an Educator’s Congress – where I’ll be presenting the 3D Model).
I used to grid my days like this all the time and I stopped somewhere along the way. What I got this weekend was how I was operating from a belief that I was failure. And that belief got in the way of me just really taking actions and getting clear on what needs to be done.
That’s it for now. I’m off to bed. For tomorrow, my commitment is to make a difference in the world.
